Wireless Door & Window Sensors

Wireless home security sensors help protect your home without the mess of wires

Wireless Home Security

Product Overview

Wireless sensors can provide security for doors and windows throughout your home. The benefit of using wireless sensors is that it allows you to have sensors installed in hard to reach places without having to run wires all throughout your home. For those homeowners who are especially concerned with aesthetics, wireless sensors can prove to be a great solution for your home security system. Plus, wireless sensors are just as reliable as traditional wired sensors. If your security control panel has a built-in wireless feature, you can take advantage of wireless sensors as opposed to traditional hard-wired sensors.

Why We Like It

• Quicker installation and implementation process
• More aesthetically pleasing than running wires
• Provides the same level of security as traditional wired window and door sensors

Who Is It For?

• Homeowners looking to install a new home security system or upgrade a current security system
• Those seeking a simple solution to avoid running wires throughout their home

How do you get a quote to replace window sensors or advise where I can get parts to do myself? I called ADT customer service but the person wasn't willing to help. I can say how many sensors so why can't they give me an estimate. I don't write blank checks.

Hi,I'm interested in two home sercurity.I used to use AT&T sercurity.I have their $200.00 cameras and other sensor material. Now that they sold to a private company I now have over $1000.00 worth of sercurity items and can't use.But I have a good idea how you work.I liked AT&T.But if a camera went off line it was hard to get it back on line.Or if I wanted to move a camera to a new location It wouldn't connect with the wireless router.I also have three Gateways routers.Im interested but you don't show anything on line such as cameras sensors or packages.Plus no idea how much for anything.I would have at least have an idea how much to get started. But you don't even hav that. One day I'll give a call. Thank you

Patrick, systems exist that have a gsm transmitter which uses cell phone towers to transmit an alarm signal. You do NOT need to have a land line to have an alarm system. This type of system has been out for a long time. Either your company is extremely out of date or I call bs on your "I work for an alarm dealer" statement.

ADT does not sale or install residential systems that are designed to record sound; however some home alarm systems have a 2-way voice accessory allowing the ADT monitoring facility to communicate with the customer over a hands-free type speaker phone at the alarm keypad once an alarm event has been triggered. These 2-way voice home security systems do not have the ability to allow anyone to just listen-in and record conversations.

need to know if a alarm system was put into your home with a listening devices on it that can record your conversation and you did not know that the system was being instolled is that illegal if their is a divorce pending?

Hi Patrick, if you are right then these wireless systems are not really wireless. I am looking for a kind of alarm system that will auto notify the authorities of any intruder or forced entry without any sirens or loud alarm sounds but cannot seem to find a decent information on them.

rebecca rubright 2/2/2010 8:58:21 PM

went away. someone entered through window. also cause its wireless they pick up the signal and deactivate my alarm. they also changed the panel in my remote by ordering parts from other countries. u need more protection for the money u pay.

BillK 1/1/2010 6:27:50 PM

TD 11/26/2009 10:10:43 AM

Thanks for an honest comment Patrick - I was wondering the same thing myself!

Home Security Source 11/19/2009 1:38:03 PM

Hello Patrick, We appreciate your concern and will verify the way the information is written is not misleading.

PATRICK 11/19/2009 12:42:20 PM

"Traditional landline phone service can be canceled, which can reduce monthly bills ." having wireless sensors does NOT allow a customer to cancel their landline!!! the sensors are wireless, not the system itself. who the heck wrote this?? lol I work for an alarm dealer, this is waaaay off.
