Hi Jessica, ADT uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) with AES 256 bit encryption for web viewing of the Pulse Portal and all associated video content. This is the highest level of encryption and is the same as is used in online banking.

Video surveillance systems are great protection in more ways than you can imagine. My dog got deathly ill and after much stress and money spent with my vet, I was able to view my video footage only to find out that my pest control company sprayed toward my dog. I would never have known that had it not been for my cameras. I was able to negotiate 6 months of free service as well. I love my video system. Also, because of today's economy, there has been a rise in crime in my neighborhood. Not only has my house never been one of the homes broken into but I feel very safe with the extra layer of protection. It was worth getting a camera system in more ways than one.
