An estimated 500,000 pets are affected by home fires each year and new data from the National Fire Protection Association shows that almost 1,000 house fires each year are accidentally started by pets.
To help keep pets safe from fires ADT Security Service and The American Kennel Club® (AKC®) have joined forces for the second annual Pet Fire Safety Day on July 15th.
