Making Security a Family Matter [VIDEO]

Today I would like to talk to you about making security a family matter.
What do I mean by this? So often we hear so many people say we have to put all these electronic and mechanical devices in play to protect what we have in our homes. These are very good ideas but, I’d like to talk to you about protecting our families and how we can go about that by changing some of the behaviors that we have.
A really good way to go about this is by simply making security a family matter. When we’re sitting down together, having dinner or lunch, at our kitchen table let’s talk about those things that are sometimes a little bit uncomfortable for us to speak about. For instance: What would you do in a crisis? What kind of emergency plans are in place? How have we prepared ourselves when that moment comes?
By educating ourselves about what to do in a crisis, we’re better prepared to know what to do, where to go, and how to act. By bringing these things to the kitchen table, we will help our families in these times that we hope will never happen.
